My Collection of Keyword and Topic Generation Ideas – Part 3

This is the final group of my 9 favorite notes about keyword research and topic generation ideas. Today’s group starts with one of my all-time favorite notes.

I think it may have been a bit under appreciated when it initially went out. I’m not sure everyone truly grasped how powerful it could be for a content strategy. Be sure to give it a read.

Using objections to generate topic ideas thumbnail.

Using objections to generate content ideas – If you have spent anytime in sales, you have undoubtedly heard tip after tip about answering customer’s objections. The best sales courses will teach you that objections are really questions that have not been answered for the customer.

Sitting down to generate a list of possible objections a customer may have to buying a product or service is a great way to generate potential topic ideas. I’ve been doing this for years, but in this note I show you how I take this concept and supercharge it heights I never before imagined.

This one is a must read in my opinion.

Using Google Bard to Capture Autocomplete Searches – ChatGPT may have gobbled up all the hype and media love, but it’s not the only AI model out there. Other models do have their uses.

Snagging autocomplete searches from Google has been a keyword research tactic for a long time. You can even start typing a phrase and then end with an ‘a’ and grab all those. Then try ‘b’ and grab all those. All the way through the alphabet.

A bit time consuming, but not anymore. In this note, I show you how you can use Bard to do this on autopilot and build a huge list of keywords for yourself.

Semrush's Keyword Cluster Tool

Clustering keywords with Semrush – You have made it this far and now you have a huge list of potential keywords, but how do you organize it all. Doing it by hand would take days, maybe longer.

Earlier this year Semrush released a clustering tool in its suite of keyword tools. This tool can take a huge list of keywords, hundreds or even thousands of them, and cluster them into topics for you in just a few minutes.

I would still recommend going over the list of topics and keywords and make any adjustments you feel are appropriate, but this is a huge timesaver. Be sure to check out this note.
