You have a piece of content stuck outside of the top of page one for its targeted search terms, and you want to build a content hub around it to give it a boost.
Only problem is you are struggling to come up with new content ideas that don’t overlap too deeply with this page itself.
You’ve tried all the common brainstorming tricks.
You’ve used Semrush’s Keyword Magic Tool and Topic Research Tool, but nothing is really jumping out.
You look at competitor sites and all you see is the same boring topics covered over and over, which isn’t going to help your information gain scores.

I know AI is being talked about everywhere and maybe you are sick of hearing about it, but this is a perfect use case to ask for some help from AI, and not just ChatGPT, but Google Bard as well.
ChatGPT
For this, you are going to need to be using ChatGPT Pro with plugins enabled. You will need to use a plugin called Link Reader.
The prompt
The prompt is very simple.
I want you to read the content at hxxp://domain.tld/webpage and then tell me what are the top ideas mentioned on this page that could be expanded into their own pages.You can use this prompt on your own piece of content or you can pull pages on other sites as well.
I like to use it for my own, some top ranking competitor pages, and 1-2 relevant Wikipedia pages.
Here is an example of output I got from a page on ClickUp.com:
What will usually happen, is that the first 2-3 ideas will often be pretty similar to the source page I direct it to, but after that, you will find some good ideas.
You could even ask it to dive further on one of these topics into new topic ideas if you think one of them is broad enough.
Google Bard
Of course ChatGPT is not the only game in town. You can also use Bard to generate some topic ideas with the exact same prompt.
Bard will behave differently. The first response is usually pretty broad, but then I give it a second prompt:
Can you expand on those topics deeper? Generate 10-12 new page ideas with titles.
