Another summery brew for you witbier fans. This one is from Belgium and what is thought by many to be the oldest brewery still in existence. This is one of my old standby’s. In other words, you will almost always find this in my house.
It is brewed with orange peel and coriander. The wheat smell will hit you right away with a bit of lemon zest.
It is a bit watery, which of course is normal for this type of beer. The taste is sweet and the yeast, orange peel, and coriander spices hit you right away. It has a great balance between sweet and spicy.
One of my personal favorites. I suggest you try it out.
